• Original condition:
  • will not shift into reverse
  • broken brake pedal rubber
  • poorly fitting locking gas cap
  • glass/substrate separation on side windows
  • spare tire without wheel
  • no bumper jack
  • no spare tire holder wing nut
  • Inoperative:
    • shift indiator
    • dome light
    • heater fan control
    • glove box light
    • radio (speaker cone gone)

• Fixed:
  • right rear quarter window trim clip
  • added washers under plastic air cleaner retainer nut to hold air cleaner tighter
• New:
  • dome light bulb
  • brake pedal rubber
  • gas cap

December 2024

• Fixed:
  • converted old Chevelle jack for use on 57 Chevy
  • removed unused pull cable from heater control panel
  • hooked up shift indicator
• New:
  • front engine mounts
  • rear transmission mounts
  • heater blower switch
  • spare tire holder wing nut
  • rear bumper end decals
  • front seat belts
  • glove box switch and light
• Needed:
  • spare tire wheel (14 x 5 inches or 14 x 6 inches, 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern)
